Gartencenter Augsburg GmbH & Co. KG has sold its shares to Plantiflor Gartencenter GmbH & Co. KG

CVM Capital Value Management GmbH was mandated by the executive board of Gartencenter Augsburg GmbH & Co. KG to organise a structured M&A-process. The company has six stores in North Rhine Westphalia with about 400 employees. The branches in Schwerte, Castrop-Rauxel, Hagen, Unna, Bochum und Krefeld have an average sales area of approximately 6,500 m². Before the conclusion of the sales process, Gartencenter Augsburg GmbH & Co. KG filed for insolvency at the local court in Hagen. Within the insolvency period, Gartencenter Augsburg GmbH & Co. KG was sold to Plantiflor Gartencenter GmbH & Co. KG. As a result, the insolvency was cancelled. Plantiflor Gartencenter GmbH & Co. KG is a subsidiary of Hellweg Group. The Hellweg Group is based in Dortmund and has 91 building supplies stores with partially integrated garden centres and a sales area of around 725,000 m². Due to this acquisition, Reinhold Semer, owner of the Hellweg Group, expects synergies on the purchase side. All jobs have been saved.
