In February 2015, Grupo JBB acquired 100% of the shares of “Unicanal S.A.”, that owns the leading cable channel in Paraguay (Unicanal). Unicanal was part of the TV-Cable business unit of “TIGO” (Grupo Millicom) Through this transaction, Unicanal will join Grupo JBB, that includes Filmagic Entertainment (representative of The Walt Disney Company in Paraguay), Radio Disney, Radio Farra & Radio Pop; among other companies dedicated to media in Paraguay.
