Mr. Konomi has been running this Tokyo based investment bank for over 35 years, developing networks among leading Japanese industrial and financial institutions. He has been active in cross-border M&A transactions, representingJapanese and some time non-Japanese interests. Active also in placing a variety of funds among leading financial investorsin Japan, including PE, real estate, infra and direct lending.
Due to his deep high tech background, he deals with high-tech firms globally. He has a B.E., Electrical Engineering from the University of Tokyo and an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School. He worked for Morgan Stanley in New York and Tokyo for 8 years before starting his own firm. Developed a tracking radar for Japanese designed jet fighter and an inventor of electric devices.
