Innovad, a portfolio company of IK Partners and a leading provider of animal nutrition and health solutions, has acquired Switzerland based Herbonis AG. Herbonis AG provides a plant-based source of the metabolic active form of Vitamin D, a unique and highly technical product with proven health benefits in poutry, swine and dairy.
Hoffmann & Partner has advised the shareholders of Herbonis AG financially and strategically over many years. Dr. Urs Breitenstein, one of our founding partners, has been the chairman of this company for more than 5 years. He led the M&A activities in his role as chairman and leader of the M&A committee of the company.
