We are selling a small Swedish life science company in the reearch lipids space. The company is Larodan (https://www.larodan.com/), which is mainly a provider of lipids used for analysis and research within pharma, food / agro and academia. The main use is as reference standards in analysis and the second largest segment is reagents in research / product development. The company is based in Stockholm, and is today owned by two individuals. During 2019 the company had sales of ca. USD 2.5m with 25% EBITDA margin. Ca. 70% of sales represent the company’s own lipids where the gross margin is around +80%. The remainder of sales come from distribution of research chemicals and lipids in the Nordics. Of the sales of own lipids ca. 90% is exported outside the Nordics.
