Equator Investment Holding has acquired Generali Peru

Equator Holdings has acquired the Peruvian Property and Casualty insurance operations of Assicurazioni Generali S.p.A (Italy). Equator Holdings ("EIH") is an investment holding controlled by Venezuelan shareholders; it focuses on buying and operating insurance companies across Latin America. Generali Peru ("GP") is the Peruvian subsidiary of the Italian insurance group Assicurazioni Generali S.p.A, one of the largest insurers in the world. Alpax acted as exclusive financial advisor to Equator Holdings.
