DDA & Company has advised the shareholders of Pure Gaming on the sale of the company to the OFF Group, headed by Olivier Granger. This acquisition will enable the Lyon-based group, which has just opened up its capital to a pool of investors including Siparex and AMDG Private Equity, to develop its digital/e-commerce arm.
Founded in 2010 by Eric Rousset, Pure Gaming specialises in the online distribution of computer products, gaming accessories and consumables. The company mainly distributes its products via Amazon. It has Vendor Central accounts in several European countries. It has also developed an in-house software package that enables it to feed its database in real time with catalogues from partner wholesalers.
Pure Gaming expects to achieve sales of €18m by 2022, with an EBITDA margin of around 15%. Eric Rousset joins the OFF Group team as Director of Strategic Development for Pure Gaming. He will retain a 10% stake in the company following the transaction.
