Steliau Technology, leading Pan European player specialized in value-added supply as electronic solutions provider, significantly broadens its Italian operations with the acquisition of the company Welt Electronic SpA based in Florence.
This acquisition adds an important strategic pillar and is fully consistent with Steliau Technology’s strategic plan to expand throughout Europe. With the acquisition of Welt Electronic, Steliau, which closed 2023 with nearly €200m in sales, adds an additional €30m in revenue.
Welt Electronic SpA has a staff of around 60 people. The rationale for the acquisition stands in the strong Value-Added product range complementarity solutions: Welt Electronic SpA brings its Leading positions in Lighting solutions, Industrial market, and Thermal Converting solutions with a dedicated digital cut production site to serve any kind of specific customer and market requirement. This investment in local expertise and know-how confirms Steliau’s ambition to stand out from global approaches by promoting responsiveness and agility.
Riccardo Rabatti, Pietro Dho and Giuseppina Marotta Directors of Welt Electronic SpA, will remain in charge and they are working alongside Steliau Italy’s management to coordinate the implementation of the synergies of offers and services made possible by this new project.
