This transaction involves the sale of the Superseis Retail Group, the largest supermarket chain in Paraguay, to the A.J. Vierci Group (Paraguay). Grupo Superseis ("S6") is the leading supermarket chain in Paraguay with sales of US$200 million in 2008. The AJ Vierci Group is one of the largest economic groups in Paraguay, with interest in the areas of trade, industry, media and distribution. Alpax acted as exclusive financial advisor to the Shareholders of Grupo Superseis.
