The Transaction consists of the sale of the Business Rights of the Swedish car brand “Volvo” for the Paraguayan territory by Rieder & Cía. to the Garden Group.
The Transaction allows Rieder & Cía. to focus its efforts on strategic sectors such as energy, industrial, agricultural, forestry, construction, and transportation. Rieder & Cía. will continue to represent and commercialize the Volvo brand for trucks, buses, and heavy machinery, as well as the SDLG brand, among others.
The Garden Group adds a premium brand to its portfolio, recognized for its focus on sustainability and elect vehicles. The Group will take over the distribution, commercialization, customer service, and after-sales services of Volvo Cars in Paraguay.
This Transaction is subject to the approval of the local Regulatory Entities.
