Fazal Ahad

Fazal has a rich experience of 30+ years in Investment Banking and Asset Management in India and overseas. He brings expertise of having run a PE fund and a perspective of what funds look for in deals. He has acquired a keen sense of understanding of businesses across various industries which has been the backbone of the M&A practise at Merisis Advisors. Fazal has advised a number of companies in Consumer, Technology, Healthcare and Fintech verticals on domestic and cross-border M&A transactions. Fazal has also advised on stake sale of several technology companies to VC/PE funds. Fazal, in his career before co-founding Merisis, has worked with Rana Investments (Saudi Arabia,) Reliance Industries, Lloyds Finance, IDBI & Tata Motors. He is a B.Tech in Electrical Engineering from IIT BHU, an MBA from IIM-Calcutta and a CFA charterholder.
