Abu joined FRP in 2024 as a Partner in the Corporate Finance team, following the acquisition of WilliamsAli Corporate Finance, which he co-founded in 2019.
As a Chartered Accountant, Abu has over a decade of successful lead-advisory experience, advising on company sales, management buyouts and fundraising, including several high-profile deals.
He was named as the North East’s Emerging Dealmaker of the Year in 2018 and has become a key figure in expanding and developing the region’s networks of investors, entrepreneurs and advisers.
