BNP Paribas Fortis Private Equity and Charles Leclef have sold their 100% stake in Het Anker to Brouwerij Huyghe.
Het Anker is a Belgian family brewery and distillery with a strong heritage value and a history dating back to the 15th century. Its range consists of 17 beer brands, including Gouden Carolus, La Cambre and Maneblusser, and eight fine whiskies, which are exported to over 30 countries.
Brouwerij Huyghe is a leading Belgian brewery with a rich history as a four-generation family business. The company focuses on the premium beer segment, with Delirium as its world-renowned flagship brand that has won more than 150 awards since 2000. Huyghe Brewery’s diverse portfolio includes 14 brands and 41 beer varieties.
Brouwerij Huyghe is ideally positioned to increase Het Anker’s beers worldwide presence in a sustainably way thanks to its extensive export network and high sustainability focus, while respecting the individuality of each brand.
