Defeder is a leading and fast-growing Spanish company in the production of organic fertilizers and organic raw materials for animal feed and farming.
In 2021, the company joined forces with Henko Partners, a Spanish private equity firm, with the ambition to boost international growth and consolidate its leadership in the organic fertilizer segment across Europe.
The Spanish company has now acquired its Belgian peer, Samagro. An important step in Defeder’s strategy towards European leadership.
